Company history

We have been making honey with love since 1996.

How it all began

Two beekeepers stand behind the start of the company. Apart from specializing in beekeeping they also opened a family business in the 1990s. They are Mr. Ladislav Špaček and Mr. Josef Novák. Both rated amongst the biggest beekeepers in the Czech Republic in the 1970s and 1980s. Besides beekeeping, they also started purchasing and selling packaged honey. It has always been a family business and remains as such up to this day. The company has been packaging honey, without interruption, for almost 20 years. At the outset, the company packaged honeys manually. Today its sales have increased to several thousands of tons of honey per year. The company turned from a small business operating only in the Czech Republic to a big business operating all over Europe, from Portugal to Ukraine.

Production programme

Our sole line of business is the processing of natural honey as high-quality natural food. Honey purchasing and packaging is overseen by the State Veterinary Administration. Bio honey certification has been introduced in production, as have HACCP and IFS FOOD, which are food standards that ensure the constant quality of our products. We package and bottle both Czech and foreign honeys. Our selection of honeys focuses on regions located within undamaged nature where no pesticide or heavy metal residues have been found. And so we supply the market with products from beekeepers. We guarantee the finest quality. The quality of our products undergoes regular testing in laboratories abroad. We offer a wide range of polyfloral, lime and honeydew honeys. Our product portfolio is made up by a wide range of products that we innovate and expand on an on-going basis. We offer a gastro assortment of servings and plastic buckets ranging from the most widespread honey glass bottles (250g, 500g and 900 g) to wholesale packaging in barrels or IBC.

Honey processing

In processing honey we cooperate with Intertek Bremen, QSI Bremen, VŠCHT Praha and others. The aim is to process and package honeys keeping the highest quality parameters in mind. The most important thing for us while processing the honeys is to adhere to the most considerate technical procedures applicable to honey processing. Nowadays, we use the most state-of-the-art processing technology for honey packaging in all of the Czech Republic thanks to national and European subsidies.
